I'm trying to figure out why job seekers don't have the skills companies need; why the community colleges and vocational programs, which have done such a great job for America, are not providing more people with the skills to fill these vacancies. We Need your Help!

The jobs crisis in America is the worst seen since the great depression. People are not just suffering from the economic downturn, but also from a permanent underlying structural change in the global work model. This is leaving many without the skills or tools too effectively succeed in this new work-world environment.

There are several other initiatives now underway to try and help businesses and workers. However, none are currently addressing the need for education alternatives and modern tools adapted to this new world of work. Get America to Work was started for just this purpose – to address these critical needs.

Our idea is simple – create the opportunity to bring private businesses and individuals together and help fund the development of new tools, educational resources and research that will help Americans adapt and succeed in this new global environment.

In exchange, contributors get their names or company advertised and linked on the GATW homepage for a minimum of five years, and an electronic badge for their own web site or page to show their proud support of this initiative.

Booyango LLC, a Michigan based corporation, started this initiative to help fund the development of a ground-breaking global job matching system, and to fund the development of educational tools desperately needed to help retrain Americans with the skills companies need. While Booyango is a for profit company, 100% of the after-tax profits from Get America to Work are directed to solving these issues at this critical time in America’s history.
