What is the idea?
The idea is to sell internet ad placement to raise awareness and support among government, industry and individuals for supporting getting Americans back to work. The main motivation for doing this is to support  initiatives for tools and services that help get Americans back to work.

Who are you?
Get America to Work is an initiative of Booyango LLC, a Michigan corporation. Booyango currently helps individuals and companies with advice, news and support in employment matters. Booyango is also developing a forthcoming solution for helping individuals and companies better locate and match each other for filling work opportunities.

What will be done with the revenue raised?
The revenue gained from this site will be used to support education, research and development of new solutions and services for helping Americans adapt to the new market dynamics and helping getting them back to work.

Why should I buy a placement on this site?
In addition to supporting a good cause, Get America to Work is an initiative that is intended to generate interest and site traffic maximizing the effectiveness of getting traffic to your site and exposure for your name or brand.

How long will the site be online?
A guaranteed minimum of five years. If the site proves more popular than anticipated, it will remain longer.

Why should we give money to this site?
Two good reasons – it will get your name or website listed, and you’ll feel good that you are helping a good cause.

What part of the money is going to getting people back to work?
From day One, 100% of our net revenues will go towards our 4 core initiatives – hiring American workers, investing in publicly accessible education and training programs, developing new and better employment tools, and originating global skills-demand research to help determine what skills American workers need for career success.

If I give $100, do I get my name or my website listed?
You can get either one listed, but the website will have a hotlink to take the reader to your site

What if someone gives more than me, but I got there first?
The higher the amount, the higher the name is placed on the site.

Can I pay in installments?
Right now, no. but soon.

Are you legitimate?
Booyango is a limited liability corporation headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. More information can be found at www.booyango.com.

Are you taking a maximum number of names?
Right now, no. The sky is the limit.

Are you filing as a charity – 501(c)(3)?
No, but that is deliberate. We are selling ad space, which is a for profit enterprise.

Why should out of work people donate?
The link to their website might get perspective employers to take a look at their resume.

Why did you create this site?
Two reasons – to raise ad money for an exciting new employment community, and to make a statement that we are all ready to do something about unemployment.

Can I give more than once?
Yes, as many times as you want! The more you give, the higher the placement of your name and link on our Sponsors page

If I give $100, and want to upgrade to the $250 level, can I just pay the difference to raise my name up?
Sure!

Why should a company give you so much money?
Publicity will be quite positive, and the link to their website should increase web traffic.

How many viewers do you expect?
We expect to hit 500,000 in the first year.

Are you planning to do anything for the veterans?
Yes! We needed to start with one name, but later groups will be covered – vets, over 50s, over 21s, disabled, etc.

Why can’t you hire people with some of this money?
We plan to – once this site gets enough viewers to justify strong advertising revenue.

The Company

The Initiator

Chris LaFontaine is CEO of Booyango LLC and founder of Get America to Work. Prior to his current position, Chris has successfully managed multi-million dollar international technology businesses including Kodak, X-Rite and Agfa.

Chris now directs his experience to bringing useful solutions to solve global employment challenges. He is the visionary and a founder of Booyango and is passionate and determined in bringing the desperately needed tools to help companies and professionals in thriving in the dynamic global marketplace.
